Moods of Norway
2005.08.05
Moods of Norway is delivering supreme spotless clothing to the world. The company is based in the urban highlands of the exeptional country of Norway. Different clothes for different moods are the underlying philosophy. All products are made by combining international trends with traditional Norwegian design and traditions. All products from Moods of Norway are telling a story from the country known for polar bears and extremely expensive gasoline.

Hey!
I’ve been to their web site and I have also seen some of the clothes up front. Is it just me?? I see one suit, one t-shirt and one sweater in ridiculous floral patterns, and some really bad pictures. I think they are trying to copy the other norwegian designers “Arne & Carlos”. Not their designs but their image. Check out http://www.arne-carlos.com
Anyway, I find Moods of Norway to be total crap – the quality of their clothes is pretty inferior. And who the hell wants to pay $1000 for a brocade suit with flower prints that you can only wear once??

Being Norwegian, I have read a lot about Moods of Norway in the newspapers here in Norway. So I wanted to check their clothes out and I went to one shop were their sell the clothes and I tried on a suit from their “cocktail moods” collection and I was truly disappointed. The cut of the suit was lousy, the fit was not good at all and the quality wasn’t good either. So my conclusion is that Moods of Norway is all hyped up by the two guys behind the label – who are not designers, but have a background in marketing. They really don’t know what they are doing when it comes to design. So i am giving this brand a thumbs down – they are just not worth it.

It all smacks of bullsh*t. The image and the clothes. It’s a shame because there are some great designers in Norway, but I hope they will not be tarred by the same brush as Moods.

Hey
I’m originally from Norway but i live in Liverpool Where i’m studying Fashion and Clothing Design, i congratulate ‘Moods of Norway’ on getting this far, but i also see that many people are unhappy with their work, could this be down to poor quality and high Prices, or maybe its just pure jealousy?
I’d really like to know if there is a shop i could visit anywhere near Liverpool ? This way i could see for myself what the work is really like.

I was truly dissapointed aswell! Collection really sucks. It looks cheap and outdated. .Maybe there is a small hype around it right now, but it will not take long untill they are yesterdays news. Unless they hire some real disigners fast as hell! Which is something they abseloutly should do,considering they have done an amazing marketing job!

I assistance something that makes it simpler for users to obtain access to advanced website functionality. Twitter oauth is fairly easy to implement and if the user is logged into twitter it is really one particular or two click process. The user feels safe not giving too an excellent info and the internet site owner has a new potential customer. Great Write-up!
