is there a nice way to do this for icelandic? I found a free online class, but the problem is it seems to be taught in icelandic. which is a bit of a problem.

After stumbling on this link and posting it, I thought it would be nice to gather similar links to learn other nordic languages. I’m going to work on it. :) If anybody already knows some website, let us know in the comments.
Jessica, this guy gathered a few resources: http://odin.bio.miami.edu/norse/icelandic.html
The first time I went to Iceland, I couldn’t find anything on the Web, so I checked at the library and found this awesome mini-book that helped a lot (my Icelandic friends told me that it was really good). I forgot the name but I’ll try to find it.

Agreed. Whatever free language resources we can assemble we should share. Language is free, after all, isn’t it?
Thanks for sharing the links.
