This stunt was part of Sony’s campaign “Soundville” during which they played music for a whole week.

Iceland was badly hit by the latest global economic downturn. As a consequence the government is considering applying for E.U. membership and switching to the Euro. The Union stated that Iceland might be able to join as soon as 2011.
